Has Spring started to arrive in Cornwall

I was down on my plot yesterday and noticed that My raspberries buds had started opening and producing leaves, do you think I could put my shallots in the ground.

planted my shallots jan 29th last year,no problems,waited until mid march to plant onion sets,not so hardy as shallots.

I always plant my shallots in January and I'm in Yorkshire. I would think that you'd be pretty safe in Cornwall.

I think spring is arriving in South Wales as well as my blueberry leaves are starting to show. And I saw my first open daffodil yesterday (mind you it was in a well sheltered position_.
