Have you joined 'peppers anonymous'? The others might still come through - they can take a while.

I've not seen 'taste of italy' do you have a link for them?

Plenty of time for your other peppers to come thru, its still early for them.

Wyevale sell 'The Taste of Italy' seeds SBP - they are a seed company. I have some of their pepper seeds this year - sowed them yesterday - the ones i have are Jolly Giallo, F1 hybrid, yellow peppers

Ah thanks shirl, I thought they might be another company importing Italian seeds like 'Seeds of Italy'.

I have just gone and taken a closer look at the packet, which reads 'Authentic Italian seed, packed and solely distributed by Thompson and Morgan'

72 different variety How did you manage to scour as many as that! Are these a mixture of hot and sweet pepper? 5 of my sweet peppers were sowed 9 days ago and still no sign but maybe they will soon as they're now in heated propagator.

You very interested ? Yes it's true, some of the seeds being sold by T&M are Italian seeds via their sister seeds range called 'The Taste of Italy', presumably this would have been packed in Italy. I got a different design packet for their Yard Long Beand and Fuego chilli.

I was interested cos of the different types of veggies you can get with Seeds of Italy, and also the quantity of seed in the pkt.

Illustrated Index of : Vita Sementi Italian Vegetables

Seems like T&M are marketing 'Vita Sementi' brand (or have T&M bought their company?) - there's good quantity in a pkt.

Oh my gawd, look at the number of seeds for the tomatoes! Makes good common sense to group purchase those surely.

Don't tempt me although I may buy T&M seeds when they have their half price sale that they might have again in summer like they did last year but most of these may be too late for 2008 unless you're buying ahead for 2009. Is this a way of getting rid of older stock.

I like that Lettuce (Lattuga Bionda Lenta a Montare), she's a real beauty, yes I do lettuce obsession too .

Do you mean buying seeds in the summer sale will be too late?

I'm still using a packet I bought several years ago - and still getting near 100% germination. Can't beat them for value I reckon.
