    Some of my peppers have come up in the propargator but the seed heads are stuck on firm what can I do and why is this happening

    Don't worry, they will work themselves off. They usually split and come off in the first few days. If the seed leaves are distorting after that, hook a fingernail under the seed case (carefully) and see if it will ease off.

      Leave them as STG says, and if you can't wait any longer soften the case with a bit of water before trying to remove them (with something like tweezers).

        Be patient, and mist with a little water to help soften them if the air is very dry.

        It is very tempting to try and remove them manually, but 9 times out of 10 you will damage the leaves.

        Or that could just be me

          Some varieties of tom are even worse for this. Berry had 3 out of the 6 seeds stuck. It's darned annoying, I know that!
