Mine started off looking like SBP's, but have since all fallen over... They're not flopping towards the light though, so I don't think that's the problem. I'm just going to leave them to it, And probably try some more in a week or so. It's not a major disaster as I've got some sets ordered too

Have they just 'fallen over' or are they 'keeling over' (dieing!) Sarzwix? Can't see why when you've got them to 2-3" high they should die, are you under/over watering, are they too warm/cold?

Don't think they're dying They still look a good colour. And they started falling over before I took them out of the propogator, so cold shouldn't be the problem, and they're not too wet, or too dry. Must have been the heat I think, that's the problem with using cell trays in propogator - you can't just lift out the ones which have germinated. Hey ho, live & learn eh?

yours sound the same as mine, mine look perfectly healthy, they are just lying down instead of standing to attention. I am wondering if I didn't plant them deep enough?

Hmmm, never thought of that... that's a possibility! The seeds are so little I didn't cover them much. Definately going to try sowing some more!

I pricked mine out at the crook stage into small pots, I'm planning on popping them on the plot in April, using a bulb planter. I'm growing a huge (show type) variety and sowed them at Christmas which is why they're so advanced. The instructions said that they needed to be germinated at 13C and then grown on at the same temperature, so perhaps those raised indoors or in propagators are a little warm.
