mouldy middles

help I have started some carrots in loo roll middles but there seems to be some fungus growing on the outer cardboard of the rolls should i bin them and start again or will they be ok

I got the same problem when using loo tube for growing/sowing pea, the mold seems to be harmless to the plant. Just keep an eye on them and see what happen .

Got the same problem when using loo roll for sweetcorn, meant to throw them out and start again but didn't get around to so planted them and they grew

There's allsorts of harmless moulds growing in the soil that you don't see, don't worry about it.
