I've bought from Dave's Seeds on ebay for a couple of years. Very friendly & free seeds. Had no trouble, seed germination all okay too.

Last night ordered more seeds from seedmart on ebay, never tried before so.....

I have bought from Roguelands/Seedfest before. They were very slooooow to arrive, but all those I planted germinated well.

I ordered from Seedfest.co.uk (but please beware of other names they go by e.g. Roguelands, Anioleka) last year in Oct but seeds never arrived yet they charged me on my credit card so I complained to my CC (also sent nasty emails to the billing agent who collects money on Seedfest's behalf), got the refund, phew! I gave them enough time for delivery before taking action with my CC though, over 30 days you do start to question if they're a legitimate company.

The link gives list of all other seed suppliers that may be part of the bigger scam.

The thing about ordering from US is that it's risky for us UK customers. I would only order from those US sites that our Grape members have ordered successfully with fairly recent orders. I tend to go by looks of the US sites too, if they look smiliar to the dodgy ones (design/layout etc), I avoid them.
Best of all, if you're thinking of ordering from US sites, always seek advice from the forum to find out if anybody's ordered from them before but has to be fairly recent order because companies do deteriorate over time.

            Seeds from France

On a tenuous thread, if any grapes want seeds from France, let me know and I will sort it out when I am home.
I am as honest as a second hand estate agent so you can guarantee they will arrive.

So have you checked out the French seeds websites then ? I know a German one Uncle Bobby or Bob which Momol recommended and they send out orders to UK customers. They look legitimate enough and their English translation is broken but sweet & funny.

Here the German seeds site link for Uncle Bob or Bobby seeds as they're called.

Uncle Bob seeds - Bobby Seeds online shop

They must be the world 'bestest' seeds supplier for largest varieties of squashes. Have to deviate myself from looking at the French tomato site or maybe I will .

I got some stuff from seedmart recently and was very pleased. In fact I've placed another order already Was it the red artichokes by any chance Manda?

I've also ordered from Baker Creek but not recieved those yet.

Lol! Seahorse what you doing on the 'ordering more seeds' thread?

Err yes it was indeed Concerto f1 - a new hybrid, read some reviews supposed to be tasty! (Bunny Guinness in the Telegraph really rated 'em.) - seen 'em priced at 1euro a seed, thought it was too good a variety to miss!

Also got the tromba d'albenga, charentais melon and the zapotec tomatoes....

How long did seedmart take to deliver?

Mind you, the selection looks even better than American tomato specialist site but the qty is a bit mean for 10 and under seeds.

I checked them out and the seeds qty are very impressive, like 400 for aubergine seeds. Surely substantially cheaper to group share an order . Their Lebanese courgette is not just cheaper than UK price but the qty is double too. Don't you feel like we get ripped off in UK .

How long has it been since your order? If it's too long I won't wait around and take action with your CC. I'm not sure but I wonder if there's something wrong going on with US seeds sites except for the eBay ones that our Grapes had recent order with.

Don't think I need panic yet. It was shipped 23/1, so it's taking a bit longer than I'd hoped but they're a reputable company and their communication is very good.
