Mind you, the selection looks even better than American tomato specialist site but the qty is a bit mean for 10 and under seeds.

I checked them out and the seeds qty are very impressive, like 400 for aubergine seeds. Surely substantially cheaper to group share an order . Their Lebanese courgette is not just cheaper than UK price but the qty is double too. Don't you feel like we get ripped off in UK .

Don't think I need panic yet. It was shipped 23/1, so it's taking a bit longer than I'd hoped but they're a reputable company and their communication is very good.

Think I might be interested in few things that are substantially cheaper than Real Seeds. Worthwhile securing the Lebanese courgette.

The tomato you should try to translate the English version so that you don't buy what you have already .

Ordered my shallot seeds - cuisse de poulet du poitou (aka chicken leg of Poitou!), and Leek Malabar (early leek) - p.m. 10/02, received today 13/02, each pkt must have about 1000 seeds.

They're French-based and seem to mainly sell by weight. You can read the seed descriptions in French, English & German, there's often more info in French.

Could have told me you were ordering and I could have paid half your postage cost. I still haven't got the Lebanese courgettes, had to cancel the Marshalls order (seeds nothing generous like from 123seed). How much did the P&P cost and is there a minimum order? Thanks for the first to take the risk, at least we now know that one is safe.

Most of the seeds seem to be 1.60euro (c£1.20) with p&p starting at 1.50euro (upto 20g?) and increasing by weight. I got the leeks & shallots for 1.5euro p&p and could have added another lightweight pkt of seeds in the same p&p.

If you register and log-in then the seeds you put in your basket will stay there until you decide whether you want them, but it will also calculate the p&p for them.

If you check the seed details (more info) in French (language swop icon is on the rhs, by flag), you'll see there's other names the seeds are known by - I'm not sure the English translation of names is always 100%!

My seeds arrived from reimer yesterday, seems a good buy more seeds in packet than stated, just have to see if they grow these were ordered 28/01/08.

Heirloom vegetables on ebay ordered off these on the 3rd feb ordered shiped on the 6th feb and seeds arrived 13/02/08 this guy sells very cheap seeds and very good customer service

Quote me if I'm wrong but the Reimer had negative reviews from Dave's Garden for poor quality seeds with poor germinate rates (sometimes as extreme as zero germination). Maybe they need to pad up seed packet with more seeds than stated but only you can report to us if they're safe so do tell us how the seeds germination go. Hope it all goes well .
