How soon can we sow the Vales Emerald seed potatoes as they're first earlies but I guess we all need to wait for the chitting process that can't be hurried or can it? I've put them in the cupboard as I've noticed that potatoes sprout much quicker in there.

I feel a little bad today, I had ago at DT Browns as my december order still hadn't arrived. I had rang a fair few times to be given false dates when they should arrive. Anyway I asked for my money back in the end and today I get a nice letter apologising. I also have a note from the postman saying I have a package to pick up. I wonder if it could be my lost order?? If it is I'll send them a nice letter back and give the £15.80 to charity.

Was it your potatoes from D.T Brown..?

I had issue with T&M on the phone today, they messed up my Nerine order from October, its cancelled now but the girl on the phone was mortified they had messed it up.

I started to feel bad for her, i'm not bothered about the bulbs now as i'm going to spend the money on summer stuff for my hanging baskets.

Sorry about your Nerine order, I managed to get Nerine and Agapanthus from Wilko for a quid each late Summer last year but they did nothing and were in pots. I wonder if they'll come back .

Mine's a long way from growng to an inch unless you put them in the dark cupboard, they sprouts like crazy but pale ones which I gather are no good anyway.
