I hope its a big allotment. We are a family of 4 who all like cucumbers and I will be planting 2 a week for the next couple of months and I think that will probably suffice.

Life's disappointments are so much harder to take if you don't know any swear words.
I plan on sowing mine this weekend but only one or two seeds though as I will sow more later around the 'normal recommended time' when most people will be sowing theirs .
Where on earth are you going to find the space to grow them on? Cucumbers make quite large plants, and I've always managed with 2 or 3 in the greenhouse to feed the whole family.
Mmm, I agree and far too early for ridge cukes too. Unless you have loads of cloches on a hotbed. The 'mixed' bit concerns me too cos you will need to know if they are outdoor/indoor.
Got to say the sun came out here...what a day! tempting to steal a march on nature and plant everything, but often I find that unless you can really provide constant conditions, there is a danger of things get leggy or knocked back by a chill. The ones you plant later normally catch up anyway.
some are outdoor/indoor , some are indoor we have 100 plot allotment, WE have a table outside where people can leave items for plot holders they will soon go, I have sown the seeds below. Our site seems interested in trying different varities.

What a lovely idea to have table outside! Can people just take them for trying or do you have an honesty box system. I think a lot of people sometimes grow too much and this is a nice way of sharing plants.

Still say cukes like it warm. Don't waste them. I hope you have insulation, heating and auto-venting in the glasshouse. Otherwise it is quite tricky and hard work. Really nice idea-the plant table.
