Bind weed

In one of my plots I've discovered bind weed, carefully I've removed all that I could see and next week will check over again. Something tells me that this wont be the last I'll see of it.

On this plot I'm going to be planting potatoes in a couple of weeks, will this cause any problems for the potatoes?

Your not wrong bind weed is a right pain ,Keep digging it as it comes up.
Or train it up a cane and paint weed killer on it , Rough the leaves up before
painting so the killer gets right in to it.

spuds should be ok if youve cleared away as much as you can, as pete says its a real pain but just keep at it it does weaken eventually and remember you only have to leave the tiniest piece for it to start sprouting

As soon as you see it making new shoots, pull them up. Potatoes should be able to cope with the competition, and should hopefully weaken the bindweed.

I replanted the hedge in my front garden and continually had bindweed but did the training it up a stick and then sprayed, I don't usually use chemicals but it did the job and now I can pull up the odd bits that come up, but if you keep pullning out the bits it does weaken them Good Luck
