planted out my broad beans

Planted out my broad beans today (aquadulce claudia) 120 plants all about 3 inch high, I have put them under cloches for the moment to keep frost off them.

Also planted some cos lettuce in the greenhouse, and checked on the 135 garlic plants that are in pots at the moment.

My aquadulce are hardening off a bit having been started in the greenhouse - they're a bit soft, unfortunately.

Oh, I have a grand total of seven broad bean plants and a dozen garlic!

Hi Chris, I have today sown a more modest 24 red epicure into pots in the cold frame. Unfortunately, due to white rot in my allotment, had to give up growing garlic a few years ago.

135 plants, wow, I am green with envy, good luck.

135 is pure luck, I forgot I ordered online and then bought again from a garden centre, but hey I love the stuff, but the wife hates it so I guess she will have to refrain from kissing me...lol
