      Listen Honeybun, if this order works out ok its serious spending. Ive ordered beans, i have lots of beans already, some from the seed swap at Ryton, other HSL given to me, Millions of beans, where am i going to plant them then all...? Hmm.. Hmm..

          Sorry missed this thread earlier. Sounds like it's Hyacinth beans (aka Lablab or Labiab that Kings and Nicky seeds sell) and yes it is somewhat crescent shape but I've only ever eaten the green version, common in Asia. Only recently realised that there is a red version but some site says it's not edible . They're not the tastiest of beans but go reasonably well with Indian cooking or perhaps even North African cuisine as it needs strong flavouring.

              Seahorse i see your in Lincs, not far from me have they forcast the snow for you as they have for us here in Leices..? 2.5 - 5 cm due Fri night..?

                Oooh, dunno seasprout! The Beeb say sunshine and showers here until monday. I'll be on standby for ferrying the entire contents of the g/h into the kitchen though

                  Hee hee, my order from Amishland arrived today too
                  Red Cranberry Pole Beans, Wild Toms (plus 2 other toms ) and some carrot seeds... Really nice lady, I'll definately be looking there next year

                    W Robinson and Son, specialist seed supplier, mail order vegetable seeds, mammoth vegetables you will find red podded peas here and loads more good stuff, there in the uk and are a family run business.
