I feed mine once a week at any time, I have them on a drip feed system in the greenhouse and just fill the reservoir bag with water each day. Every weekend I just make a weak solution of feed and it is like a tonic.

If it works for you, keep going with your head down

All my tomatoes got magnesium deficiency and died last year - I was watering them and my annoying neighbour decided to water them over the fence as well as he thought I was too busy with work, and so all the nutirents got washed out of the soil. I was told epsom salts was the solution, but I never got round to it as I didn't know where to get them. I'm off to the chemist this week to pick some up as the same thing might happen again this year.

I start to fed my tomato plants when the flowers start to form - feed them once a week with Tomrite then after the tomatoes themselves start to form I feed them every second day when I water them - little and often - seems to work for me.
