    Last year I grew mine in 20 inch diameter pots, hopefully this summer we'll have a bit more sun so more of them get to ripen before the frost comes.

      Was that winter squash (e.g. butternut) or summer squash (courgette)? I think the former needs bigger than the latter but even so, for courgettes best to give them at least a minimum of 12 inches diameter pot.

      I may grow some winter squash in pots, been eyeing the builder flexi tub (40 litres) as they're massive and saw them at Poundstretcher for £1.29 last year.

        Mine were butternuts grown from supermarket saved seeds.
