First question and straight in at the deep end
The first things i planted in my veg plot early last October were White sprouting broccoli and Spring cabbage. In preparation i added lots of compost, to improve the clay soil structure and by way of a long term feed i applied the recommended application of 'fish, blood and bone meal'.
I kept the plants protected under a loose fleece over winter and for my efforts i have some fine healthy looking plants and fingers crossed i will be able to start harvesting my first crops next month .
I am wondering though if i should give them a further feed at this point to give them a bit of a boost afor they go on to grow the spears, and if the cabbage would benefit from another feed to aid with the hearting up stage in a april/may?
I have looked on various websites an advice seems to differ a lot from leave them alone, and give them a feed to boost them. You guys seem to have your heads screwed on straight so what would you recommend please, 'to feed or not to feed?'..that is the question![Smile](https://www.growfruitandveg.co.uk/grapevine/core/images/smilies/smile.gif)
