hi again all, i have a small patch about 10 foot by 3 foot which is in shade most of the day as it is right behind my shed. last autumn i dumped remains of grow bags and cow dung and dug well in. i,m hoping it should be great this year for a few veggies but i dont know what ones tolerate shade. anyone help.

My lettuce did well in the shady spot last year. I've also got a shady bed and have been advised to grow spinach there, plus my fennel bolted in the strong sun last year so am going to try it in a shady place.Comment

Lettuce likes to be shady, but not totally dark.Comment
