I'll second the courgettes; watching them grow in front of your eyes is a miracle to behold.

Yeah, I am just off J28 of M1.

Have just been to the garden center.

Have planted a row of carrott seeds (amsterdam forcing), a row or Orla first early's and have beetroot seeds soaking in some water which I will plant in a few mins.

Hi sorry to crash in but i noticed you talking about parsnips.
I tried planting some seeds in a biggish pot then i pricked them out once they had grown a bit into peat pots .
They are about 3 cm high and seem to be doing ok.
