  • Kidney Beans

    Hi all, ANOTHER question! lol

Paid a visit to the inlaws and the step-mother-in-law- gave me a load of seeds she had left over from her allotment.

Amongst them where some kidney beans. She said to grow them in small containers then plant them out.

Have got some empty yoghurt pots to start them off in in the window sill but when should I transfer them outside?

as for french beans .... sow in April, plant out after your last frost. May? they are tender, more so than runners.

    are they dwarf or climbers?

i agree with the others matt plant april plant out in may,
don't be to eager as the weather will stunt the growth or over weather and batter them restricting growth.( speaking from experience you know)
this will be a battle from the heart
