Don't think the leaves are any larger, they just seem more wavey around the edges - will really try to work out how to use the camera properly tonight and post accordingly.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Gee Whiz Crichmond, my aubs are still in their seed leaves. Can't wait to see how yours get on.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.

Wow, I'm dead jealous. I sowed some black beauty a couple of days ago - it said on the packet germination would be around 21 day I've just got mine on the window sill, so fingers crossed they come through

To get back to the original question, repot them now into a 3 inch pot and give them a little pinch of Nitrogen fertiliser well watered.

Yeah sorry about that, I just mixed 'top rose' in with the compost when I transplanted mine.

Me too, I'm so green with envy that you'd be harvesting your aubergine much much earlier than any of us poor soul.

Mine are about the size of Crichmond's first piccie (I think!) but I've not fed them anything yet - the potting compost should be OK for now. May need to repot the largest one in a couple of weeks so it'll get some more food then.

They're still much bigger than mine. When did you sow yours? Mine got delayed mucking about learning to use the heated propagator.

The first lot were 6 Jan along with my chilliles - these are the bigger ones and then a couple more on 9 Feb when I was given some De Barbentane seeds. Much earlier than other years but if it goes well then it'll have been worth it.

My aubergines are still tiny, I repotted them yesterday in multi-purpose compost in 3in pots & put them back in the propagator to try & give them a boost.

I have three money makers and all are growing ok in the (south facing) conservatory. A couple of them are showing what looks to be flower buds.

They are also shooting between the stem and the mains leaves, so all looks ok. however, I am a little concerned at the state of the leaves. They go through days of being 'floppy'. I'm not sure if it's because I'm not watering it enough (I think that i am) or is it getting too much direct sunlight?

They are all in 30cm pots.

Can someone shed some light please?

                                Thanks
