How did you get so many melons going? I have planted 4 watermelons (1st March) and got nothing yet, not even a whisker of a seedling.

Anyone else go mad or is it just me
I was way enthusiastic last year (first year) too! Amongst others, did 2 courgette plants (pretty minimal by your standards which for me didn't produce enough...so am doing 4 this year! However, very jealous that you are having 15 pots for potatoes! I'll prob only manage 4-6! Would love to do melon but no greenhouse and not hot enough prob where I am

Enthusiasm is great! Let us know how you do!

Just been back to greenhouse to check on everything and can't believe it now in excess of 100 melons of various varieties, have spoken to the local garden centre here on the island and they are going to take some off my hands, as well as some of the courgettes and cucumbers. Even better they are going to pay me for them..
