        I hope not.

There are at least four current threads about them, so do have a browse!

Yes, indeedy, Paulottie. Maybe one day I'll know enough to help a poor wee newbie with her bog roll inners and you can sit back and have some peace

Happy Friday me lovely lil Parnsips
A bit like my dear wee shy pea shoots lurking in their soggy loo roll inners.

And three threads at once is just too much to bear

It's not easy saying the same thing over and over - I'm happy to do it, but I need gaps in between!
What size of gaps, Cutecumber? 10cm between? (With you on the parsnips, btw - except when cooked in Delia's parsnip roulade when they're transformed into something utterly delectable, believe it or not!!!)

                Good morrning all
After having read the threads over the last few weeks, would i be in the dog house ,if i were to suggest a cheekie little number,{ parsnip wine} :
Could this be the solution you seek, pardon the pun ,to block out the P*****p word,he he he,it is apparently a very potent liquid
This might just be an alternative answer, then everyone gets a bit of what they like, from information to somethin, shall we say ,more madicinal
just to block out what you not want to see.
sigpicAnother nutter ,wife, mother, nan and nanan, love my growing places, seed collection and sharing, also one of these

I hate parsnips too! I grow them because Mr Flum and my Ma, sister and in-laws love them. And I'm just basically a nice person. Is it my imagination or is me nose longer)

I really am going to sow some today, just for the hell of it.

                    If you can't beat 'em...

                    Anyone got a loo roll?

For all the parsnip haters ... yum! This transformed my opinion of them.

Looks nice. Might try that for my veggie parents.
A bad days fishing is still better than a good day at work!

you know, if you don't want to answer posts then you could just ignore those ones (bowing down in humble acknowledgement of your wisdom and bounty in answering them nonetheless, and hopinhg this won't mean I no longer get any answers to my posts having just pi**ed off half the vine )

I agree queen, the grapes who answer our questions are wonderful and helpful but i hope they dont feel obliged to do it and get something out of it themselves,
Some people are not too savvy on a comp either, and can just about work out how to get on here!!! i am ok and do search but sometimes cant be ar**d to read through reams of threads and posts just to come up with something which i didnt want ...much better to spend the time doing the practicalities, and also a lot of people are very busy now and should be encouraged to start or keep on growing.
i ask a question and look forward to the kindhearted people taking their time to reply to me, and help me on my way.

Adminny people - would it be possible next year to have sections for certain types of veg.. I'm thinking parsnips, toms, courgettes as some of the prime cadidates and get grapes to volunteer to keep them under review and do an faq sort of thing??
