The thing to do is wait till these stores have nearly kill them with neglect themselves ...then they sell them off for peanuts. If you know what you can revive you can get some great plants. My neighbour is the absolute master of the bargain trolley. I just hate those stores on every level and rarely go. ( I do nearly all my own propagation anyway)

Some people at my Lotty have already planted out there runner beans and they look really sorry for themselves.
I was talking to another person at the Lotty and we both said that we had not even started our seeds of in the greenhouse and we would both be waiting until May.Bye
