  • planting out toms

I have some Pomodoro toms on the windowsill that are about 10" tall. Is it too early to plant them out in raised beds (pre covered, and now quite warm to the touch)? I'm in Ipswich.... could I cover them with bell cloches ?

I would definitely hold off -forecast is for snow and for frost everywhere this weekend.

We have "heavy snow" predicted on Sunday according to the BBC....ouch!

Going to make sure I look after the babies!

Best make sure the GH is snug then. Got some bubblewrap to tuck round the seedlings.

Far too early to be planting tomatoes in the open. Even in Suffolk I wouldn't plant out before May and then only with cloche cover.
