  • Mystery seedling

    Hi guys,

I'm new here and wondered if anyone a little more green fingered than me could help.

This started growing amongst some basil seedlings.

I know its not basil (duh!) - but any help to identify it would be of use, that way I can decide weather to keep it or not.

The leaves have a little bit that sticks out on one side as you can see on the last photo.

    Thanks in advance,

    Matt

Same here - some kind of pepper or chilli. Looks like a nice healthy little plant - annoying how "weeds" do so much better than the stuff we sow on purpose

I think it is pepper or chili. I used to plant money tree (pleated) some years ago but it was really different than the mystery plant above.
Are you going to keep your mystery plant, Fizzy ? it sure look big!

Looks like a unanimous vote for a pepper of some sort. Keep it growing - it will be intersting to see what you get.

I'm really knew to this, but my first thought was 'it's a pepper plant'......

so that makes me feel GREAT!! Small steps but I'll get there.

                              My gut reaction was "chilli".
So I concur with everyone else.
