alternitive containers II

pinching another members idea for unusual containers, i've pretty much spent now all the money i wish to spend, but i really would like some more water butts or something that could store rain water, ive looked on my local council site they only give away one compost bin per household plus you can have two more at a reduced rate, which i think is good,but they don't do water butts. I've tried asking my water company, ( as the place i lived before the water company sold reduced 100 litre butts ) but to no avail, i've currently put on my local gumtree and freecycle site a plea for old water tanks,and water water butts, but does anyone have any alternitive suggests please,

I use plastic dustbins that the previous owner of my house left lying around.

I also use the 'green waste' dustbin that our council gave us - I put all my green waste on the compost heaps so don't need a separate bin for it
