It's not really recommended to be honest. Celery is tricky even in the ground for most of us.
Give it a go, but I would say only one plant to a container at least 12 inches wide and deep. They need moist, rich soil and I think you're going to struggle somewhat to keep it adequately fed and watered.
Anything's worth an experiment, but perhaps just try a couple and not a whole yard full.
