As a keen newby I have bought some baby (though bigger than plugs I think) plants for the lottie from Dobbies, that way if I bodge up my seed sowing at least I will have a few plants going. Currently these are in my plastic greenhouse or coldframe in their original trays (includes cabbages and brocolli).
My question is, will they be better if I transplant them to a raised bed until I have dug the ground where they will end up?
They are ok in the trays at the moment but would like to get them out but also realistically need to dig for spuds and onions so won't get on to the cabbage patch for a bit.
I can cover the bed to protect them from the pigeons which should help? OR do I leave them where they are for now?
