    Hi Could You All Let Me Know What I Can Sow Direct Into A Raised Bed? Could I Sow A Row Of Cauliflower?etc Was Gunna Sow 1st Of May Thats My Forecast For Last Frost In Rawcliffe.

    Don't know where 'Rawcliffe' is..sounds pretty exposed!..try putting you county in the user cp. Caulis(infact all brassicas) I sow in modules in cold greenhouse but they are hard to grow well anyway.

      We sow all sorts into our raised beds.

        I've already got carrots (Early Nantes) and spinach (Matador) coming up in mine - though I think a bit of fleece might be in order, looking at the weather forecast!

        AFAIK you can sow just about anything in raised beds that you would in the ground. As Paulottie says, caulis and other brassicas may be better sown in modules then planted out. I don't direct-sow many seeds apart from salad leaves, herbs and carrots, as they are too easily lost to slugs (or accidentally weeded out!).
