I normally grow Lark F1 (extra tender sweet) sweetcorn which we love. I've been given some Sweet Sensation F1 (supersweet) seeds, and I'd like to try growing them as well. My question is - can I grow the 2 together? I understand that if you grow other varieties of sweetcorn neraby they cross pollinate, but what exactly does that mean - and is it a problem? Thanks.

Its only a problem if you grow a sugar enhanced variety (and most F1 hybrids are just that) next to a standard variety.
You tend to lose the sweetness from the sugar enhanced varieties if they are pollinated by the standard variety.
If both varieties are sugar enhanced, there are various terms in use, you wont have any issues.
