I have a few choices for mulching my very tiny veg seedlings...hay, fine bark and coarse bark. which one you will recommend best?
or if any of you have tried something else...
actually they are already in the ground, it's a small patch in a well protected area, around shrubs and flowers ( small backgarden it's all I have!). I have lettuce, radish, spinach seedlings coming through .
I wouldn't recommend mulching seedlings. Just keep them weeded and watered (only when necessary). You will need to watch out for slugs, though. Use pellets if you approve of them.
