  • lettuce not growing

I am desperate to see my little gem lettuce growing, but no way it's been in the same stage for one month which is two leaves, and very small ones.
It's in my garden and not protected, as the temperature are quite stable here, (around 12C day and 5C night)
I checked the pH which neutral to acid, the soil was completed with home made compost, coffee ground, fish-bones-blood....what's wrong

It's still not that warm, really. You'll just have to wait for the sun and keep your fingers' crossed. The only way to speed them up is to use a cloche.

You're seedlings may have been "checked" by cold earlier on. When this happens plants can stop growing for a couple of weeks and then carry on - or they might never grow on. I'd be inclined to plant some new ones - just in case.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs.
