does anybody get veg seeds from this seed company there seed is very reasonable . i received flowers seeds from them they all worked out fine but i am afraid of ordering veg seed in case they might be GM seeds
they e mailed me and said all their seed is GM free seed
i could get all my veg seed for about €10 delivered it would cost at least double that in ireland . i know i should support local companies but at the end of the day €10 in my pocket is better than €0. what do all of you think

You can change the currency top right, very cheap pity the types of veg are not what we commonly know.

Wow, complicated or what!! However the postage isn't that bad remember we work in £ this is in euros. So only about £2squids I think which isnt that bad. Do they suddenly run your bill up if you order before they send the bill? Confused!!!

You're a little behind in your exchange rate I'm afraid. 1 Pound = 1.219 Euros (according to Travelex today). So p&p = from £3.57 (thanks to the Credit Crunch!).

i don't think you can order seed using a credit card etc they only accept direct bank transfers. when i ordered the flowers i put through the order within 24 hours you get an e mail saying how much the order costs with a special ordering code then i sent a direct bank transfer the first time i did this i wasn't certain if i would receive the order i thought it might of been a scam but 12 days later the order came everything germinated and developed into fine plants
how can i be 100% sure that the veg seeds are GM free surely some grape out there could tell me how to do a check on the company

Did the direct bank transfer cost anything to do - or was it just as a payment by you using their bank details?

Why do you think some of the stuff might be GM?

the cost of the direct bank transfer was 40 cent cheaper than a postal order
its hard to believe the seed are so cheap usually when you buy cheap items they aren't top quality .pelleted carrot is at least 5 times more expensive in ireland than from this company .maybe its just the different currencies that might explain the difference in cost of seed. i am going to try some veg seeds from them anyway

                            Hi Nemo!

I just recently found Seemnemaailm, and the seeds are cheap indeed!

A plus side is, lots of their veg seeds are heirloom seeds. Tomatoes for example. Also, they will survive in my arctic garden (I live in Finland, North of Viro / Eesti).

On a negative side, they only put very few seeds in every bag, compared to any other companies I have used.

They always ship by recommandée / registered delivery, that is why it costs such a lot to ship.

It really works so that you complete your order, they prepare your bill and send it to you via e-mail. I have made a bank transfer to them, and it has all been plain sailing.

I think I'll stick to Marshalls and Suttons. Estonia is a long way to go to complain if it doesn't work out.
