  • DT Brown/Mr Fothergill: The same company

    Well, I didnt know that!

Apparantly, Fothergill's comprises five main brands: Mr Fothergill's, DT Brown, Woolman's, The Sweet Pea Company and Johnsons.

I've always bought my seed from DT Brown, thinking they were a 'bit special'. Now I know I might as well buy from my local B&Q

I wonder if there are price differences between the different ranges?

I got some stuff from Marshall's last year and it came with an Unwins print-out - and an apology as 'someone' had put the wrong stuff on the printer!

D T Brown tends to be slightly cheaper than Mr Fothergills.

For the cheapest veg seed I tend to go Moles Seeds - Flower and Vegetable Seed Suppliers. You will pay roughly the same price per packet, but will get a lot more seeds from Moles.

Yeah, I'd noticed the Suttons & Dobies websites & catalogues are very similar. Also the Van Meuwen website has changed to be very similar to T&M's so I assume they're one & the same too.
