  • What are these??

    Hi,

These are growing in my dads garden in Turkey. Look a bit like leeks but with lumpy bulbs?? Locals say they eat stems but not bulbs.

    Any ideas??

Turkish Leeks? They undoubtedly look like a leek. I would guess you can grow them from the offsets. Worth a try?

Looks like someone's crossed a leek with a gladioli to me!

              Thanks so far everyone.

I just don't know what they are or if he should be eating them or not

I know the locals said stems were good to eat, but translations can be a funny thing.
