  • Tomato bed

    I've got a few tomato plants to go to the allotment and was wandering if there is any particular way to prepare the ground. Putting chicken pellets on or growmore, liming the soil or adding nitrogen etc.
    Any advice would be gratefully received.

    sorry baggyman all mine are going to be in hanging baskets so cant help. are you going to the shrine on monday night to see the boys get promoted

      Manure usually does the trick. With toms it is potassium you need; nitrogen will grow lots of lovely leaves.

        Thanks Zazen I'll start diggin in some muck.

        Hawthorns.... Unfortunately not but will be watching on the box. Gettin a bit nervous now, I nearly chucked me big mac out of the car window yesterday when Hull scored in the last 5 mins!

          yeah i was kinda hoping that we would be up before we kick off. just hope pearson doesnt come back to haunt us.

              sorry zazen999 us baggies have to stick together. hows the moon planting going. ive sown quite a bit with the moon guide this year.
