I have some shallots (all showing above ground) in my raised bed and was wondering if it would be ok to put some cabbage/brussels/cauliflower (quoted all three types as I have little plants growing in a tray in the greenhouse and one of my cats has uprooted the labels so not sure which is which till later in the year) in between the rows as it seems a bit of a waste of space. If i cant plant them could I put lettuce in instead?

The brassicas might overwhelm the shallots a touch . Perhaps some carrots if the soil is
    not to rich .
The force is strong in this one!
