Moving house. Will fruit bushes move ok?

Hi everyone. I will be moving house in a couple of months and have a few fruit bushes that I planted early last year that I would like to take with me.

I want to lift the following but was wondering if they will survive being put into pots for the move.

2 blueberry bushes
2 blackcurrant bushes
1 redcurrant bush

If they are not likely to survive this I think I would rather leave them.

Providing you lift them with a good size rootball they should move perfectly well....you may lose some of this years fruit but the plants should be fine.
If I were you I would pot them up now and keep them well watered...before they really start putting their energy into fruiting.

We moved fruit bushes from our old allotment and from my Dad's garden when we moved (and he moved). You do need to pamper them a bit but you should get away with it.

you have nothing to louse by trying i did it with loganberry Id try putting them in a strong bin bag with plenty of soil or if you have some larg tubs try putting them in that
but get them back in the ground asap,
