Would it work? I'm struggling for space in my raised beds so I wondered if PSB would grow happily beside my flowers?? Does it need full sun or is partial shade ok?

PSB needs very firm soil (trample it with your boot)
It's greedy - it won't appreciate competing with other plants for food, water and light.
It nearly always needs netting against Cabbage White and pigeons. All gardeners know better than other gardeners." -- Chinese Proverb.

I don't think PSB is the prettiest of plants for a flower border but I suppose it will give a bit of winter greenery! My Majesty made for him a garden anew in order
to present to him vegetables and all beautiful flowers.- Offerings of Thutmose III to Amon-Ra (1500 BCE)
