You could try using dried beans to make a Jersey Bean Crock, which is a dish people used to live on over here.. involving dried beans soaked overnight, then cooked very slowly with onions, garlic herbs and a pigs trotter or some belly pork to give it a bit of meat. #It ends up a greyish mush which certainlt rattles the trouser legs and is a bit of an aquired taste if you ask me! I have eaten a veggie version which wasn't too bad.Comment
