  • Peppers In pots

I have three pepper plants growing indoors in pots and I have noticed that some of the flowers keep falling off - is there anything I am doing wrong?

I have had one pepper to date - didnt grow very big so I removed it and now have two more on the way on this plant, the other plants are flowering but no sign of fruit yet. I am giving them tomato food once a week.

    peppers

quite often plants drop their flowers if there isnt enough water, also since they are indoors dry spraying the flowers with a mister and shake the plant to make sure the pollen is fetilising the female part of the flower. However once they are pollinated the petals do drop off quickly check for swelling at the base of the flower if it is then dont worry if the whole flower is dropping off then try what i said above.

    hope it helps

i have 6 plants that ive grown from seed which havent fruited yet. i bought one from a garden centre and it has loads of flowers/fruits on it. it has been dropping a few but i assumed it was because the plant wouldnt be able to support so many as its not a big plant and they are the big sweet peppers. it definately hasnt dried out or been over watered. is it not possible that you get the same thing as with fruit trees?
