  • Special Offers from GYO

Has anyone ever bought those special offers from GYO or got the free seeds/plants (where you just have to pay the postage)? Each month I see them in the mag but not sure if they are worth it. Any comments much appreciated.

Thanks everyone for your comments - think I give the strawberry offer a go (don't think I can have too many strawberry plants

not got any from GYO, but have got some giant fuschias from Gardeners world which look great - arrived a couple of weeks ago, I've just potted them on and they look very healthy. A real bargain, I think.

I much prefer these offers to the free seeds you get - I find the free packets are usually very common varieties, so not as much fun as these offers where you can get something a little more unusual.

If anything was wrong with them, I'm sure you could just complain and get your money back.

I agree I got some strawberries on offer for 9.99 from either GYO or Lets Grow veg (got loads i think 12 of 3 different varieties) and they are starting to flower in the greenhouse as we speak. Also got some seeds for P&P as well.
