Whats the optimum size for planting out individual loo roll grown sweetcorn plants please? They are hardened off (not sure if necessary but done anyway)

Everything needs hardening off if grown in greenhouse - gets the stuff used to variations in temperature and wind, and generally toughens them up. I usually plant my sweetcorn out when around six to eight inches tall.
