I've deleted the PM, it's pathetic...what is its purpose? It doesn't appear to be selling anything. Thanks for letting me know that it appears to be doing the rounds. It's gone!

I got one the other day and emailed the GYO people to let them know but I've not heard back. I did ignore it, but thought there would be more of a "report Spam" option.

Not too happy with the possibility of my email address being accessed in this way.

oh,, actually, i got it as a pm, but got confused as the pm notification came through as an email, but I appreciate that my email address is not published. My apologies for the misunderstanding.

However, there should be a quicker system of notifying you of possible spam. It's very likely that it is an automated system of sending spam.

PM us Mods (Jennie Atkinson, PigletWillie an myself and the first to see the PM can deal with any spamming problems. I've had a pek and can see you've got your account set to display your email address in your profile which I guess is how they got to email you as I've never had problems with dodgey emils going to my personal email. If you go into your profile, you can remove the choice to recieve emails in the 'User CP' at top of screen, then on the left is 'Edit Options'. In here, untick the 'Receive Email from Other Members' box half way down

**EDIT: Just seen your next reply, oops... but still, here's how to do it if you wnt to remove the option to be emailed. You can also switch off the emails to tell you that youo hve a PM if you like too
