  • courgette problem

I have planeted out my courgettes and they are really healthy lots of large green leaves and loads of fruits ..............but the fruits only grow to about 3 inches long and then the flower dies and so does the fruit, I have read that in some cases you need to pollonate the fruits manually.

    my questions are:

is this usual will I have to do it to all of my courgette plants and

if so how do i actually do it, I presume that flowers without fruit are male and they hold the pollen and that i can transfer the pollen to the female but where on the female flower do i put the pollen?

i grew courgettes in the UK with no problem but seem to be struggling here in turkey. thanks

I've found this happens to the first few fruit and then before you know it they're producing marrow sized fruit overnight. Give it a little time.
