Potatoes in containers

[vegtable newbie!]

At school and at home i am growing potatoes in old tyres - 3 of them on top of each other stuffed the tyres inners with straw. My mum and mum in law are also doing the same now. I have had to put sompost on top of the sprouting three times now.
