Hello, we live in Wexford, Ireland and have an acre of garden. We have grown summer vegetables for years but now want to become more serious about it. We would love to be self-sufficient in vegetables throughout the year. We are planning to buy a poly tunnel soon, but are unsure if we will be able to use it properly. I look forward to hearing about everyone's adventures.

      Welcome to the forum,
You sure do have a lot of land to play with. I went to Mayo but haven't been to wexford. I love the fact that large amounts of land is still available there. Why is S.E England so built up and expensive! Good luck with your garden.

Welcome to the forum MM, hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us 'grapes' do!

BTW is that a real name or pseudonym? As I've seen a few books by another Margaret Murray (tho were written a few years ago, so dont think it'll be the same person!)
