I'm growing some cues. Only 3 seeds have taken out of 5 which I thought was a bit rough but anyhoo, two of the plants are fine but the 3rd one has produced some odd shaped cues They look like a U shape anyone got any ideas why?

thanks for sharing them with us,the mind boggles,nature is it's own master regarding weired shapes,but i bet if the tv chefs were to premote the cucumber shapes,they would appear in the shops at extremly high prices,i suppose you could create any shape if you make up a coffin for the fruit ext,if you get what i mean,mm,wonder who will have an experiment with this one,

I've seen the cube-shaped melons in Selfridges a few years ago, they were really expensive but not seen the shaped cucumbers before, they could catch on over here.
Simplypotty, try growing some more 'u' shaped ones, you could be on to a winner!
