Why is it that whenever I try to grow lettuce in modules indoors they always grow leggy. Is it too warm?

"Leggyness" is usually caused by insufficient light....can you move them outside? That would help them lots.

Nestled somewhere in the Cambridgeshire Fens. Good soil, strong winds and 4 Giant Puffballs!

They are actually in the conservatory - I`ve just potted them up so will move them into the greenhouse.

Lettuce are fairly hardy plants. They prefer to be cool, with plenty of light but not too much direct sunshine. They really should be outdoors at this time of the year.
