hi, I am new to veggie growing & my broad beans are growing but are very curly at the tips, should I pinch them out? Interestingly so are my tomotoes.
thanks
Check your broad beans - you may have blackfly! I've got three sorts on the lottie, Aquadulce overwintered, they're fine - Crimson flowered planted about 3 weeks ago, they're fine - and purple flowered, also planted about three weeks ago and they have the dreaded blackfly. I don't spray so I've pinched the tips out and am hoping I'll get a small crop from what's left.
As for your tomatoes, the leaves and growing tips often go curly when they're having a growing spurt - usually not a problem they will sort themselves out.
