hello all
i am just letting those of you that are interested in shop bought black turtle beans they germinated easily grew great beautiful flowers they are nice enough to eat but they are very heavy croppers i will let them grow on to produce the beans for drying i will have a large amount to dry next year i will only plant about 8 seeds this will supply plenty to make black bean sauce

i bought some black turtle beans from a food wholesaler i planted some beans just for curiosity they all germinated i know they clime but can the whole pod be eaten like green beans or are they only suitable for seed drying
